The East Midlands Improvement and Efficiency Partnership (EM IEP) is the Regional Improvement and Efficiency Partnership (RIEP) for the East Midlands area of England.
EM IEP is a partnership of all 46 local and fire authorities in the East Midlands who have signed up to the challenge of making the East Midlands a leading region in improving public services and making them more efficient. EM IEP's vision is that: "public services in the East Midlands region will rank consistently among the best in the country".
We encourage local and fire authorities to work collaboratively to achieve improvement and efficiencies through sharing best practice and innovation, building key networks and setting up regional alliances to increase buying power and therefore making efficiency savings.
We also provide free training, bespoke events and conferences for officers to develop their knowledge around issues such as collaborative working, procurement, community engagement, legal issues and much more.
The East Midlands Improvement and Efficiency Partnership (EM IEP) of 46 local authorities and 5 Fire & Rescue authorities has a major supporting role to play to deliver service improvements, 3% cashable efficiency savings and to deliver LAA targets.
