Developing cost effective housing solutions for people with learning disabilities across the East Midlands
A housing solutions programme led by the Department of Health East Midlands, sponsored by the East Midlands Joint Improvement Partnership and co-funded by the Department of Health East Midlands and each council, gained unanimous support from all nine local authorities with responsibility for Adult Social Care to reduce reliance on residential care for people with learning disabilities.

Creating a framework for learning disabilities and high support needs
Through a collaboration between all nine local authorities in the East Midlands, funded by East Midlands Improvement and Efficiency Partnership (EM IEP) and hosted by Leicestershire County Council, the shape of adult social care for learning disabilities and high support needs is changing.

As a result of a project in Nottinghamshire, access to training and training materials for use in dementia care are set to improve throughout the East Midlands Region. The project was led by the Joint Improvement Partnership Prevention and Early Intervention Board and funded by the Department of Health through the East Midlands Improvement and Efficiency Partnership.
