Customer service and efficiency transformation at Northamptonshire County Council.

Northamptonshire County Council are delivering more efficient and citizen centric services with the Transformational Government Accelerator programme created by Microsoft along with its CSP (Citizen Service Platform) partners.

The Trans Gov solution allows information to be shared easily across departments within the council providing a more joined up service. Citizens can access the same information by telephone or internet, providing more efficient and cost-effective channels of communication.

A new Customer Service Centre has further improved the customer experience by ensuring a quicker turnaround of telephone enquiries with no more than two representatives to speak to before accessing a service.
