It's the season for savings - Improvement East's summer series of procurement events

Improvement East, in partnership with the Office of Government and Commerce (OGC), presents the 'Summer season of Savings' -a series of events throughout the summer, covering a range of procurement topics. Collaborative food procurement, 'pre-paid purchase' cards and 'how to complete an OJEU pro-forma' are just some of the issues that will be covered in the series.

Find out how you can update your skills and knowledge to get the most out of your procurement processes and deliver those efficiency savings by attending one or all of these FREE events.

The use of procurement cards can help organisations reduce the time and resources taken up with invoice processing for low-value transactions and they can also help speed up payment times to suppliers. In addition, the emerging technology of 'pre-paid' cards can help local authorities move towards a 'cashless' benefits payment system. This results in a more efficient process for the authority and plays a significant role in meeting the growing 'personalisation' agenda in the field of social care.
