Performance Management Benchmarking

The Shared Service Architect's Toolbox

Location: Pera Conference Centre, Melton Mowbray, LE13 OPB

Event date: 02 Jul 2010

40 tools, techniques and templates for building strong trust and absolute clarity of vision between public sector partners in a shared service
"No matter how large the budget, or how skilled the project team, a lack of trust and shared vision between partners is the key element that causes shared service projects to stumble or fail."

The current reality is that, by not equipping project leaders with the skills to build strong trust and clarity of vision, organisations are gambling with the success of their involvement in multi-million pound shared service projects.

Why attend this seminar?
If you are involved in the initiation of a shared service and quickly need to equip yourself with the skills and knowledge to build strong trust and clarity of vision between partners then this seminar is for you.

Who has designed this seminar for you?
This "taught seminar" has been designed by practitioners, piloted and externally evaluated by local government managers and consultants in association with Canterbury Christ Church University - Faculty of Business and Management. It has been developed from a year-long research project at Canterbury Christ Church University into the learning from 30, completed, shared service projects, and consultation with almost 40 experienced shared service practitioners across the country.

Listening to experienced practitioners throughout the consultation, there was unanimous agreement that there is a need to be skilled in the practical ways that ensure the creation of strong trust and absolute clarity of vision during the initiation of the project.

The seminar presents a range of tools to achieve this in an enjoyable, rapid learning environment. A 240 page manual of practical techniques and templates is provided so that you can completely immerse yourself in the learning rather than be distracted by taking notes

Sorry - this event is now FULLY BOOKED.
