Performance Management Benchmarking

The Remedies Directive - from a supplier's perspective

Location: Shoosmiths Offices, The Lakes, Northampton, NN4 2SH

Event date: 29 Nov 2010

The Remedies legislation requires procurement professionals in the public sector to follow a complex route map. Getting it wrong can be both expensive and damage reputations.

This workshop is designed to provide delegates with a clear understanding of the requirements of the legislation and its practical application.

After a brief summary of the changes to the Remedies rules, we then "flip" and look at these from the bidder's perspective, and seek to understand how they build a case for challenge. We will look at the "nuts and bolts" of litigation, tactics, costs, disclosure and successful defence focusing on several recent cases in this field.

You will have an opportunity to:

ô€€¹ Learn about the Remedies legislation and its practical application.
ô€€¹ Understand the challenges of the Remedies legislation from a bidders perspective
ô€€¹ Understand the tactics that suppliers and litigators employ, and how to defend against them.
ô€€¹ Network with colleagues from local government
