Procurement & Efficiency Bulletin - Final Edition

Welcome to this final edition of the EM IEP Procurement & Efficiency Bulletin.

With government cuts affecting local authorities across the country, EM IEP and RIEPs nationally have been directly affected. Our government funding finished at the end of March 2011.

However, following its meeting in late November, the EM IEP Board did agree that regional improvement and efficiency work should continue.

The Board agreed that a small team will continue the work of EM IEP using a small legacy budget created from regional and sub regional under spending. The areas of business likely to continue are: improvement, efficiency, climate change and procurement.

For more details of this on-going work and the continuing support you can receive please contact:

or
heather.parker@nottscc.gov.uk

Finally, please note that our website and Procurement Hub will still be active for the next two years, so please do continue to use all the resources, knowledge and best practice it contains.

Best wishes,
