Following its meeting in late November 2010, the EM IEP Board have agreed that regional improvement and efficiency work should continue. The Board agreed that a small team located with East Midlands Councils will continue to progress the work of EM IEP using a small budget created from regional and sub regional under spending. The areas of business to continue are: improvement, efficiency, productivity, climate change and procurement. This is very positive news for authorities in the region and means that we can all continue to meet the challenges of government cuts head-on.

The Cultural Improvement Partnership East Midlands Evaluation Report

The Cultural Improvement Partnership East Midlands (CIPEM) three year funding agreement with the cultural agencies and EMIEP ended in March 2010. This independant evalution was undertaken to review the impact and achievement of CIPEM and looks forward to how CIPEM can continue to support local government in a very different economic climate.
